A Fixed Retainer. Fees Only for What You Use.

Families pay for the structure they need, not for a bundle. The retainer covers governance and coordination; everything else is modular.

Multi-Family Office Retainer

A fixed annual fee covering family governance, oversight, trustee and director roles, advisor coordination, and next-generation programming. Set at the start of the relationship by the complexity of the family's structure.

Service-Based Fees

Separate, modular fees for services such as OCIO, investment oversight, consolidated reporting, and planning, applied only to the services the family uses.

How pricing is set

The retainer reflects how much structure the family needs: the number of entities and trusts, the number of family members and generations involved, the governance roles we fill, and how many advisors we coordinate. It is agreed before the engagement starts and does not move with markets.

Investment fees are separate

Investment services are provided by WealthEQ, LLC under its own advisory agreement. Those fees are calculated on starting asset values plus net additions, not on market appreciation, and are disclosed in WealthEQ's Form ADV Part 2A and on its published fee schedule.

Compared with a standalone family office

The all-in structure is designed to cover the entire household balance sheet, every entity and asset class, at a lower cost than staffing a standalone single family office. For context on what a standalone office costs to run, see How Much Does It Cost to Run a Single Family Office?.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a multi-family office cost?

Pricing across the industry varies widely by firm, family complexity, and services. 2SIX Partners charges a fixed annual retainer plus modular fees for the services a family uses, set by the complexity of the family's structure. We discuss pricing in an introductory conversation.

What does the 2SIX Partners retainer cover?

The fixed annual retainer covers family governance, oversight, trustee and director roles, advisor coordination, and next-generation programming.

Does the fee rise when markets rise?

No. The 2SIX retainer is a fixed annual fee. Investment services provided by WealthEQ are calculated on starting asset values plus net additions, not market appreciation, as described in WealthEQ's Form ADV.

Do families pay for services they don't use?

No. Modular fees for OCIO services, investment oversight, consolidated reporting, and planning apply only to the services a family uses. There is no bundling and no forced participation.

Is This Structure Right for Your Family?
