Demian is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience across military and civilian sectors, with expertise in corporate structure, finance, investor relations, and supply chain management. He has direct investment experience across venture debt, private equity, pre-IPO, and private investments in public entities.
Prior to 2SIX Partners, Demian was a Partner and founding member of Sagamore Ventures, the family office for the founder of Under Armour. There, he founded Sagamore Investments and played a critical role in securing a $650 million Tax Increment Financing and a $250 million partnership with the Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group.
Demian began his career as a United States Navy SEAL, serving for 12 years and deploying to Bosnia, Serbia, Africa, and Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned an MBA from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Finance, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Baltimore.
